COURSE DESCRIPTION

Our CTA programme is designed to provide a comprehensive and innovative learning experience for aspiring Chartered Accountants. With a keen focus on accessibility, flexibility, and high-quality education, our programme is structured to meet the diverse needs of our students. The programme does not distinguish between part-time or full-time and therefore, all students will have equal access to classes and resources. All our classes are offered after working hours, on weekends or on public holidays.

Blended learning approach

The CTA programme is offered through a blended learning model, merging the benefits of both physical and online contact sessions. By integrating both formats, we aim to provide a dynamic and engaging learning environment that accommodates the diverse schedules of our students.

Consistent assessment and final examinations

Emphasising the importance of continuous evaluation, our programme features consistent assessments leading up to the final examinations. This ensures that students are continuously engaged with the material and are well-prepared for their ultimate evaluations.

Two phases for diverse learning paths

The CTA programme is structured into two distinct phases: Phase 1 and Phase 2, similar to Level 1 and Level 2 at other institutions.

  • Phase 2 is offered intensively over the span of one academic year, providing a fast-track route to completion
  • Phase 1, equivalent to CTA Level 1, will be offered unwearyingly over the span of two academic years, providing an intricate route to completion.

Flexible entry route

We offer a Phase 1 & Phase 2 flexible entry route to accommodate all students with accounting degrees that are older than 5 years. We offer the programme over 6 months. We have a January as well as a June Intake. Every phase offers extensive coverage in Financial Accounting & Reporting, Auditing, Management Accounting & Finance and Taxation. Depending on performance, as well as degree class, the student may be able to join CTA Phase 1 or CTA Phase 2 on completion.
